About The Biz

Defiant Flower is Bay Area Green Business certified and a Cool California Green Business Award Winner.  We use seasonal and locally grown flowers and foliage.  Some of the materials we grow ourselves, while the rest come from local farms, and a few places further afield, like Oregon or Southern California.  We are solar powered, organic and pesticide free, and bee and butterfly aware. We recycle gray water, avoid packaging and, before composting any leftover materials, we offer (non-poisonous) flowers and greens to our pigs, rabbits, chickens & sheep.

Why we don’t list a phone number

We are a very small company who cover all aspects of the business, from farming and bookkeeping to purchasing, processing and delivering materials. Unfortunately, we do not have the manpower to take telephone orders and cannot provide an adequate phone service. You will be given a space to write out any special requests or instructions at checkout or may direct any concerns or questions to che@defiantflower.com. Thank you!!
